LAOS WELCOMES AVATR ELECTRIC VEHICLES, MARKING A NEW MILESTONE IN LOCAL MOBILITY
On November 29, AVATR unveiled its electric vehicle lineup to the Lao market with a launch event at Parkson Shopping Mall. Under the tagline “New Era, New Luxury,” Laothani Co., Ltd. positioned itself as the brand’s exclusive distributor in Laos.
Ladsasiphon Phimphachan, Managing Director of Laothani, kicked off the event and stressed the company’s mission to steer Laos toward modern, future-oriented mobility. He highlighted Laothani’s forty years of service in the country and pledged to elevate the customer experience through stronger service standards and enhanced support systems.
Buakeo Phonvida, Sales and Marketing Manager, provided an overview of AVATR, a brand established in 2018 through a collaboration involving Changan, CATL, and Huawei. He highlighted the international design leadership of German designer Nader Faghihzadeh, whose work has defined the brand’s visual identity.
The launch spotlighted three flagship models:
- AVATR 11, which drew attention for its ascent to Everest Base Camp, generated steady interest among attendees.
- AVATR 12, with its sleek, luxury-focused styling, stood out for buyers seeking a high-end experience.
- AVATR 07, a versatile mid-size SUV, appealed to visitors looking for practicality and space.
AVATR Laos also outlined its customer benefits, including support from a trained technician team, an 8-year/160,000-km warranty covering the battery and motor, and a complimentary home charger with each purchase.
The event drew a sizable audience, with guests exploring the vehicles throughout the afternoon. AVATR’s arrival injects fresh momentum into Laos’ growing interest in electric mobility and signals a new, competitive chapter for the country’s automotive scene.
